Canwil Admin Console — Help Guide

What is this?

The Canwil Admin Console is your central hub for all Canwil Textiles operations — from import management and customer onboarding to product configurators and TruSim order management.

The Cards

  • Import Manager — Track shipping containers, calculate landed costs, allocate inventory to open POs, parse supplier invoices.
  • Customer Onboarding — Review new customer applications, send trade reference requests, approve accounts. Share the /onboarding link in your email signature.
  • Configurators — All product configurators (TruSim Golf, TruTruss, Canvas). Admin sees pricing and orders; customers see a clean configuration experience.
  • TruSim Admin — Manage orders from the golf screen configurator, approve/reject portal users, track production status.
  • Fishbowl Sync — Nightly auto-sync of parts, vendors, POs, and SOs from Fishbowl into Firestore. Runs at 6am daily.
  • User Management — (Super admin only) Add office staff, control which cards they see, send invite emails with password setup links.

Access & Permissions

Nik and Jaya see all cards. Other staff see only the cards assigned to them by a super admin. Cards are grayed out if you don't have access.

💡 Tip: Click User Management to add Chase, Nicole, or Alma — set exactly which cards they need, then hit Save & Send Invite. They'll get an email to set their password and log in.

User Management — Help Guide

What is this?

User Management lets you control who on your team can access the Canwil Admin Console and which modules they see. Only Nik and Jaya (super admins) can access this panel.

Adding a Staff User

  • Enter their email address — this is what they'll use to log in.
  • Add their name and department (e.g. Sales, Accounting, Production).
  • Set their role — Admin can take actions; Read Only can view but not change anything.
  • Check the cards they should have access to. They'll only see those cards on their dashboard.
  • Click Save & Send Invite — they'll receive an email with a link to set their password.

Card Access

Each card represents a module. Only give users access to what they need:

  • Chase / Sales — Import Manager, TruSim Admin, Configurators
  • Nicole / Logistics — Import Manager, Packing List Parser
  • Alma / Production — TruSim Admin, Configurators
  • Jaya / Accounting — Import Manager, Customer Onboarding (super admin — sees all)

Resending an Invite

If a user didn't receive their invite or needs a new password reset link, click Resend Invite next to their name in the user list below.

💡 Tip: Super admins (Nik and Jaya) always see everything — no need to add them here. This panel is for adding Chase, Nicole, Alma, and any other office staff.
